JOIN OUR DEPARTMENT
We are always looking for eager, motivated, and dedicated individuals that want to help people in a time of need. Who knows the person you help maybe a relative, a neighbor, a friend or someone passing through. You can volunteer either as a Firefighter, Emergency Medical Technican, or Ambulance Driver.
Contact the Fire Chief or EMS Chief at 608-588-2030 or talk to any of our members and they can tell you what needs to be done to apply.
FIRE STATION
TOURS
Tours of our facility can be made by calling 608-588-2030. If you are driving past or walking by and see a vehicle at the station or the doors open stop on in. Any of our members would be more than willing to give you a tour.
KNOX BOX PROGRAM
Our Department participates in the Knox Box Program. For those of you that are not familiar with this program, any commercial or private property owner can order a Knox Box from the Knox Box company. The Knox Box is attached to your designated building in a spot that can be easily accessed by Fire or EMS personnel. When the box arrives it will be unlocked. A member of the Fire Dept will need to come and lock the box after you have placed a key inside it. This will aid our personnel in entering the building during a period of an emergency when it may be unoccupied or someone is unable to get to the door. To sum it up we would not have to break a window or door to enter the property.
